Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 (55-Inch) Arrives India For Rs. 39,999 ($624)


In recent times, Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi, is improving its business affiliation with India. The company has about three factories in the country with one dedicated to power banks. Recently, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Now, Xiaomi has unleashed the Mi LED TV 4 which is designed specifically for the Indian market.

Main Features of Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4

This TV was first launched in China last year and it has a 49-inch model, 55-inch, and 65-inch models. However, only the 55-inch model was launched for the Indian market. Amongst other amazing features, the Mi LED TV 4 has an ultra-slim bezel and build (4.9mm) which makes it one of the slimmest smart TV globally.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is equipped with  PatchWall technology which permits a seamless integration between the user’s set-top box and the TV’s UI for easy controls. With Patchwall, all TV stations will be lodged on the set-top box and displayed on the TV homepage thus users can easily switch between online TV to content from their set-top box. Patchwall is specifically designed for the Indian market and it is compatible will all set-top boxes in India. The applicability of an 11-key Bluetooth remote is as easy as it can be and the included Mi IR cable ensures that the set-top box and the TV can be controlled using the Mi TV 4 Bluetooth remote.

The Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 is powered by an Amlogic quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It further comes with 4K UHD resolution with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. For connectivity, it boasts of three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an ethernet port, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and dual-band WiFi.

Pricing & Availability

The Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 will hit the road on February 22 and it will be available on Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi home for Rs. 39,999 (~$624). The first set of buyers will enjoy a couple of freebies for the first three months.
