Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung has become the world’s number 1 smartphone maker for a few years. Thanks to its Galaxy-line models, and especially the high-end Galaxy S smartphones it has outrun Apple and keeps Huawei well away. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ have made a huge stir around them even before their launch. As you know, these top-notch devices are set to launch in a few days on February 26 in Barcelona, Spain at MWC 2018. But before it happens the South Korean manufacturer released the new official ringtone for it.

Samsung’s “Over the Horizon” is one of the most popular ringtones around the globe. It’s been the default ringtone of Galaxy devices since 2011. But it’s been rearranged for each new-gen Samsung Galaxy devices. As for this year, Samsung reached out to Icelandic composer Pétur Jónsson to reimagine the melody.

Actually, the video clip is awesome. If not knowing this is the new Samsung Galaxy S9 ringtone, we may think it’s a new clip for instrumental music lovers. As the company says, this melody has the power to relax the mind and heal the soul. And it’s difficult not to agree with this description.

Moreover, as we are dealing with a ringtone, it’s quite reasonable to see a minimalist arrangement that takes you away on an atmospheric journey of discovery. This ringtone begins with the soft tones of a single piano playing the refrain. But the sound rises gradually. The video clip makes us travel over the remote Icelandic countryside

Listening to this music we can say Samsung is very serious when it comes to its annual flagships and not only. Everything is done perfectly, as usual.
