Huawei phone with 512GB of storage is real, may launch as Huawei MateRS Porsche Design

There’s no doubt that Huawei is working on a Smartphone with a whopping 512GB of storage, the device first with the model number NEO-AL00 first popped up on TENAA a few days back, revealing 6GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. While some speculates that the device might be a variant of the upcoming P20 series, others say the device might never come to fruition, but our hope may have just been raised.

Latest reports from China’s Weibo say the Huawei device with the model number NEO-AL00 may be launched as a limited edition Huawei MateRS Porsche Design. According to IT home, Huawei has reportedly created a hashtag with the name Huawei MateRS Porsche Design on Weibo.

While we do not have many details regarding the specifications of the alleged Huawei MateRS Porsche design, unconfirmed sources say the device will come as a rebranded Mate 10 Pro with virtually same design and internals, exclusive of the Porsche Design branding on the phone and software.

So far, no information on the release date, but there are speculations that the phone might launch alongside the upcoming Huawei P20 series which is scheduled for March 27 unveiling. Previous reports suggest the p20 will come in three variants, but we now have it on record that the p20 might also have a limited Porsche edition, bringing the Huawei P20 variants to four.
