Two separate leaks pointing towards the arrival of a compact smartphone, possibly the Galaxy S9 mini, had surfaced on TENAA and the Geekbench site a while ago. While some reports have it that the Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G8750 that appeared on Geekbench could be the Galaxy S9 mini, others quickly debunked Galaxy S9 mini theory of the device with the SM-G8850 model number as it appeared to feature a “full-sized” 5.8-inch screen not befitting of a mini variant of the Galaxy S9.
Now, while we do not have any concrete update about the possible name of the device with the SM-G8850 model number, the guys at AnTuTu has been able to take the device through a performance test giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the device.
According to the AnTuTu listing, the SM-G8850 will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with Adreno 512 graphics, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box on a Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels display.
