The latter is a very popular in the Chinese market (and not only). But previously it’s been known for its wallet-friendly models. So with the launch of the Chuwi Hi9 Air, it showed this niche is alive and this brand is a leader in the market. At this moment the Hi9 Air is available for pre-order on GearBest. It costs $235.99, which is too less if taking into account what stunning features this tablet comes with.
The first thing that catches our eyes is the 10.1-inch 2K resolution touchscreen that also is supplied by Sharp. It provides 400cd/m2 of ultra-high brightness. In this sense, you won’t find many devices on the market with a similar screen and at such a price tag. We can stop here and recommend you the Chuwi Hi9 Air. But the truth is this tablet sports too many high-end features.

MediaTek is struggling in the high-end chips market selflessly. At this moment, the Taiwanese manufacturer dominates in the low-end market and has many successful models in the mid-range market. But its business isn’t really that great in the top-notch market. As for the Chuwi Hi9 Air, it is packed with a super mid-range chip of Helio X20. The latter uses a deca-core architecture with a 4 x A72 @2.1GHz + 4 x A53 @ 1.85GHz + 2 x A53 @ 1.4GHz design. The SoC is paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The good things don’t end here. The Chuwi Hi9 Air is a 4G-enabled tablet. Moreover, it’s a Dual-SIM-Dual-Standby (DSDS) that supports LTE connectivity. This enlarges the connectivity options of the tablet and allows us to use it elsewhere but the home or office. Even if you want to connect the internet via wireless options, there is no reason to worry about a thing as it supports dual-band WiFi. The product also sports a dual-camera – a 5MP camera is placed on the front, while a 13MP shooter is on the back. Of course, it runs on Android 8.0.
The last and one of most attractive features is the 8000mAh battery. Seems there is nothing surprising. But the large battery and the rest of features are put in a quite slim body of 7.9mm. The whole housing is made of metal gone through 30 complex procedures and more than 150 hours of delicate craftsmanship.
