Nokia 7 Plus and 8 Nokia Sirocco go on sale in India

The Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 sirocco smartphones are now available to buy following more than one week pre-order window in India. Priced at Rs. 25,999 ($392), the Nokia 7 plus device is exclusive to Amazon India, while the Nokia 8 Sirocco with a price tag of Rs. 49,999 ($754) will be exclusive to Flipkart India. Both devices are however also available from the Nokia Shop and other offline stores across the country.

Both devices come with some mouth-watering launch offers including additional data, complimentary accidental damage insurance, exchange offers and more.

Nokia 7 Plus Offers

  • No cost EMIs up to 12 months.
  • Complimentary 12-month Accidental damage insurance from Servify on activating a Kotak 811 account on the device.
  • Free subscription for Airtel TV till 31 December 2018.
  • 10% cashback up to Rs. 2,600 on ICICI Bank debit and credit cards.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Offers

  • No cost EMIs.
  • Additional Rs. 3,000 off on exchange.
  • 10% cashback on ICICI Bank debit and credit cards.
  • 5% off up to Rs. 200 on Axis Bank Buzz credit cards.
  • Free subscription for Airtel TV till 31 December 2018.
  • 20GB additional data for Airtel prepaid customers on first 6 recharges of Rs. 199 or Rs. 349.
  • 20GB additional data for Airtel postpaid customers for 6 months on Rs. 399 or Rs. 499 plans.

The Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco were announced alongside other Nokia devices at the recently concluded MWC in Barcelona, and have seen go on sale in some other markets.

The premium Nokia 8 Sirocco is a refresh of HMD Global’s flagship – the Nokia 8.  It is comprised of 95% glass body with a stainless steel chassis, overhauled camera, wireless charging and a bigger and better OLED display.

For those on a budget, the new mid-range Nokia 7 Plus phablet offers a decently snappy performer with slick styling and a 6-inch, Full HD+ display. Based on the Android One platform, both devices run on an unadulterated Android 8 Oreo OS and will get timely OS and security update whenever they are made available.

Outside of the India market, the Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco will be launched in Australia from Tuesday, May 17 and will set you back $649 and $1,199 respectively.
