Xiaomi has been making routers for a long time. The most popular generation was the previous one, which has had many variants. Today, as scheduled, the Xiaomi Mi Router 4 was officially announced. It is priced at 199 yuan ($31) and will go on sale on May 25 through Xiaomi Mall, Youpin, Tmall, Jingdong, and Suning.

As usual, the Xiaomi Mi Router 4 comes with a simple and slim design. It is equipped with four omnidirectional high-gain antennas. The heat sink is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy and high thermal conductivity thermal plastic. On the bottom, it uses a large-area hole design that effectively improves the entire cooling efficiency of the router. The rear panel comes with additional openings in order to improve the cooling.

The Xiaomi Mi Router 4 is equipped with a 128MB of RAM and 128MB of flash storage. The CPU is upgraded to MT7621A. The maximum number of access devices has reached 128 units. According to the official introduction, when multiple devices are connected at the same time and generate a large amount of data transmission, the stability of each device is guaranteed.
