Oppo A3s to launch in India as a toned-down Oppo A3

Oppo will surely be launching the Find X in India on July 12, but the company will also launch an entry-level handset in India soon after that. That device is the Oppo A3s. This device is a toned-down version of the Oppo A3 that has launched in China some months back. In India, the handset will be available in Red and Dark Purple, at a starting price of Rs 10,990 ($160), says a report.

As for what the Oppo A3s looks on paper, here’s a rundown. The handset will sport a 6.2-inch full-screen HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. It will definitely come with a notch and the processor underneath the screen will be a Snapdragon 450 chip.

The A3s won’t skip on the dual cameras as a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture has been revealed. The front will be equipped with a single 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and has AI Beauty Technology 2.0.

Software-wise, it should most likely run Color OS 5.1 with Android 8.1 Oreo and a massive 4,230mAh battery is the power backup. While connectivity options range from 4G VoLTE, Micro USB, and the standard other options, there are two variants of the device – 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage.
