Meizu’s latest power bank is the Meizu Mobile Power 3, a 10000mAh unit with two USB ports for charging multiple devices at once. The new gadget was announced alongside all the other new items at today’s launch. Unlike Meizu’s previous power banks, the Mobile Power 3 leans more towards the affordable end of the spectrum.
In terms of specifications, the Meizu Mobile Power 3 is almost exactly the same as the previous M20. It features two-way fast charging, the output power reaches 24W, and the charging speed is increased by nearly 30%. At the same time, the input power is increased to 18W. So it can fully charge 10,000mAh capacity in 3.5 hours.
The main differences between the two stem from their designs, pricing and ports. The Mobile Power 3 features two USB ports, allowing it to charge two devices at once. On top of that, it comes only in simple black and white instead of a multitude of colours, and it’s slim and sleek. Finally, it’s only 79 yuan ($12) compared to the M20’s 169 yuan ($25). You can expect the Mobile Power 3 to go on sale very soon.
