Samsung Is About To Develop Custom GPU For Its Devices

Following the crescent trend for gaming smartphones, led by the Razer Phone and its gang, Samsung seems to be preparing its own offer for this new range of mobile devices. Today, according to the reliable tipster, IceUniverse, the company might release this gaming smartphone with its own custom GPU.

Back in June, reports revealed that the South-Korean manufacturer was working on a new GPU for use in its low-end smartphones. Since Apple has found glory by developing its own graphical chip unit, Samsung could pretty much follow and develop a solution for the high-grade smartphones.

Currently, there is no much information other than mere speculation about this Samsung’s Gaming device. However, if we see the handsets of the competition, a high-end processor alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage is expected. The device should also come with a notchless Infinite display, with powerful cameras on the back. In order to keep things cold and smooth, the company could potentially use the same Water Carbon Cooling System of the Galaxy Note9.

When it comes to the company’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S10, it will stick with Mali-G76 GPU. But if the South-Korean maker really debuts a high-end GPU, wouldn’t be a surprise if future Galaxy flagships ship with an in-house made Graphical chipset.
