The fact that OnePlus does not give an option of supporting microSD on its devices is overlooked mostly because of its price tag. That could change with the upcoming model. Previously in OnePlus 6, the primary variant had only 64GB which is very limited for some users. However this time OnePlus 6T is not going to come in 64GB variant that means its base model will be of 128GB which gives a pretty decent storage option to the users. On top of that if it could supports microSD than it will add icing on the cake for the users who fears to run out of storage.
For the unaware, the OnePlus 6T is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC and comes in the options of 6 GB and 8 GB RAM as per reports. The new OnePlus device carries a display of 6.41 inch Super AMOLED display along with a water drop notch. According to OnePlus, the handset will be launched pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie and the ābest version of Oxygen OSā and is anticipated on 29th of October.
