New Xiaomi Phone Passed Through 3C Certification: Xiaomi Redmi Note 6?

Xiaomi’s Redmi line is popular in every corner of the globe. The phones from this family are considered to be the best in terms of price-over-hardware ratio. The first model from the sixth-gen Redmi line has been out for a while and seems two new models are going to swell the ranks. Yesterday, a new Xiaomi phone with model numbers of M1901F9E and M1901F9T passed through 3C certification. And though there is still nothing official, we think it is going to be the next Redmi-line smartphone, probably the Chinese version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Actually, both model numbers refer to a single device. The certification information shows that this phone will be equipped with a 5VDC, 2.0A charging head, and the overall power should be 10W. This is the first reason why we think the certified model is going to belong to the Redmi family. Moreover, many are sure this is going to be Chinese variant of the previously-launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. And we expect for it to be renamed to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6.

If so, the key features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 will be identical to the Redmi Note 6 Pro variant. Thus, it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB ROM, 6.26-inch notch screen with an FHD+ resolution, 4000mAh battery, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. As usual, the Redmi-series models can boast of their selfie capabilities. The suspected Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a 12MP + 5MP rear dual-camera, supporting Dual PD dual-core focus, and coming with an aperture of f/1.9, a front-facing 20MP + 2MP dual-camera, with an aperture of f/2.0, and supporting Portrait mode, AI face unlock, etc.

In India, the phone’s initial pricing is 13999 rupees ($200, 3GB + 32GB). It’s expected to see the alleged Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 in 2019.
