As often happens in the case of an upgrade of the operating system, some features may not work properly and it seems that even the owners of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus can confirm it.
Recall, in fact, that in recent days the Korean manufacturer has kicked off the stable release of the official update to Android 9 Pie for these two devices, and according to the testimonies of the first users who proceeded to its installation, there would be some problem with the digital assistant Bixby.
Bixby 2.0, introduced on the Samsung Galaxy S9 with Android 9 Pie, does not include many commands that work with Bixby 1.0 and it seems that the same thing happens with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with Android 8.1 Oreo. The problem, therefore, is the new version of Samsung’s assistant.
Considering that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been on the market for almost four months, it is a rather disappointing result from the Korean manufacturer, especially if it wants its solution to be considered a viable alternative to Google Assistant.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus who use a lot of Bixby may prefer not to upgrade to Android 9 Pie and continue to take advantage of the previous version.
