The well-known source of leaks @Onleaks has published the supposed design of the iPhone of 2019.
The published images reveal a square camera module that contains three cameras. There are two cameras aligned vertically like the iPhone XS, but there will also be a third camera placed between the two, on the side. Up there is a LED flash and a microphone on the bottom.
OnLeaks claims that the 2019 iPhones are still in the engineering validation testing (EVT) stage, and there could be changes to the design since the phones will not be released until September 2019.

It also claims that Apple plans to launch three iPhones in September 2019 : a low-end variant, possibly the successor of the iPhone XR and two high-end variants, succeeding the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max.
It is difficult to say which variant will carry the three rear cameras. However, it is likely that this is one of the most powerful models.
It is not the first time we have heard that the 2019 iPhones could have three cameras, since some previous reports stated that the company could add a third camera with 3D ToF technology in the 2019 iPhones.
The ToF or Time of Flight technology is based on the time it takes for light to bounce off an object to create a 3D map.
According to Jean Baptiste Su, vice president and principal analyst at Atherton Research, the 2019 iPhones will also have a USB-C port and will be equipped with in-display Touch ID fingerprint scanner.
