South Korean tech giant Samsung is due to announce its next flagship smartphone family – the Galaxy S10 family at a special event in San Francisco next Wednesday, the 20th of February. Three variants of the device have so far been confirmed and will very much likely be accompanied by its innovative foldable smartphone and maybe an entry-level smartphone.
In drumming support for both the Galaxy S10 family and the Foldable device, Samsung about a month ago put up a teaser with a giant billboard at Palace de la Concorde, Paris, France, and has now taken the hype game to more famous cities around the World. Similar to what we saw in France a few weeks ago, Samsung has erected a giant billboard in five more iconic locations including New York’s Times Square, Milan’s Piazza del Duomo, Madrid’s Callao Square, Moscow’s Hydroproject Building and Singapore’s The Heeren.
These billboards contain showcases the beauty of Korean letters, Hangeul in a dynamic and bold way.
The campaign displays imagery which translates to “The future unfolds”, teasing an exciting future for the new Galaxy lineup as well as a bold new vision for the Galaxy brand that will drive the future of smartphone innovation.
Samsung, a major mobile phone maker lost its famous reputation to Huawei, Xiaomi and other Chinese rivals in the mid- and low-end parts of the smartphone market, but it hopes the arrival of the Galaxy S10 trio, the foldable phone, and the Galaxy M series would turn things around.
