Xiaomi devices owners will have the ability to enjoy a (almost) totally Dark Mode soon, since according to some reports, the latest MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM has almost all of its menus and apps in dark, ideal for those who have an AMOLED display on their mobile phone.
Obviously, there are dozens of Dark Themes available for the MIUI interface, but most of them are incomplete or too heavy to “run” all the menus comfortably. So the discovery by FoneArena that the latest update of the Global Beta ROM includes dark mode in most apps like Phone, Contacts, Messaging, Gallery, Calculator, Notes, Screen Recorder, and Updater.
Dark screens are also available in the screenshots for the notification menus, the volume slider and the recent apps, and the list of applications that support it is complemented by: Mi Account, Manage Apps, Dual Apps, Second Space, App Lock, Permissions, Data Usage, Enterprise Mode, Quick Ball, and Sim Card settings.
It is clear that Xiaomi is attempting to follow Google to introduce MIUI 10 Dark Mode, and so we are soon expected to officially have this particular feature in our Xiaomi mobiles.
It is worth to mention that a couple of weeks ago, MIUI officially confirmed the launch of MIUI 11 and it said that the new system is about to enter the development phase. Xiaomi’s customized operating system is one of the most searched systems in China and this ROM has exceeded 300 million users worldwide. It has experienced 402 weeks of development and update. It is one of the longest-running ROMs in Chinese mobile phones, here’s the full list of Xiaomi devices planned for upgrade.
