Oppo Reno 10x hybrid zoom version uses dual-frequency GPS

Today, OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren, discussed a few details about the OPPO Reno series. Shen Yiren said on Weibo: “The 10x hybrid zoom version uses dual-frequency GPS.”Ā The dual-frequency GPS function provides more accurate positioning. Another Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, was the first to apply the technology to mobile phones. The Xiaomi Mi 8 supports L1+L5 dual-frequency positioning and its accuracy is at least 3-5 times better. It is more resistant to multipath and reflected signals in urban scenes and has higher immunity to interference.

OPPO Reno adopts a panoramic screen and the screen ratio reaches 93.1%. The standard version is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC but the high version comes with the Snapdragon 855 flagship processor. In the camera department, this series uses a 48MP + 5MP dual rear camera and a 16MP front shooter. The camera supports 10x hybrid optical zoom with a focal length of 16mm to 160mm.

In terms of color matching, OPPO Reno has launched four colors of fog sea green, polar night black, mist powder and nebula purple. The standard version and the flagship version are set at 3,500 yuan ($521) and 5,000 yuan ($744) respectively. It is reported that this smartphone will be released in Shanghai on April 10, and the Reno standard version has already opened an appointment.
