We are only about 24hrs until the official revealing of the much-anticipated flagship from Lenovo – the Lenovo Z6 Pro, and there is no denying that Chang Cheng, VP of Lenovo Group is proud of the upcoming device as he has teased virtually the all important aspects of the device in a series of social media teasers, and now, with just a few hrs into the official launch, Chang Cheng, VP of Lenovo Group has again dropped the basic specs and features of the upcoming phone in a fresh Weibo post.

LENOVO Z6 PRO

As expected, the Weibo post confirms that the Lenovo Z6 Pro will join other flagship smartphones so far released this year powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, although the Beijing based firm is touting the chipset as a special breed of the SD855, and by that, we suppose the firm means a speed-binned SD855 chipset. The Z6 Pro will max out at 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, though there could be more variants with lesser RAMand storage sizes.

The device will come with a 6.39-inch display, while a previous teaser video revealed it will get a waterdrop notch. We are not sure if the device will use the AMOLED or LCD panel, though the Weibo post says it will come fitted with a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner that is believed to be faster than older in-display fingerprint sensors, a claim that mostly turn out to be just marketing gimmicks.

Previous teasers hinted at the Z6 Pro coming with a Quad-camera setup at the rear- comprising of a  48MP + 16MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors, and speaking of that, the primary sensor is believed to be the Sony IMX586 sensor which is also used on several other Chinese flagship device which offers an ultra-wide-angle sensor to capture images with 123-degree field-of-view. Lenovo claims the primary camera will be able to output 100-megapixel images using software extrapolation. Lenovo is also touting the camera as having the HyperVideo feature, though details of that remain unknown, while it is tipped to come with a 32MP front-facing camera.

Finally, the Lenovo Z6 Pro as per the teaser is confirmed to come with a 4000mAh battery, a PC-grade liquid cooling system to keep the temperature in check while playing games for longer sessions while it will boot Android 9.0 Pie based ZUI 11 out of the box.

Other details including pricing and availability will be made known at the launch tomorrow.
