Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S plunges to an all-time low – now sell for 1999 Yuan ($293)

Today, the official price of the Xiaomi MIX 2S on Xiaomi Mall hit an all-time low. The page shows that the MIX 2S 6GB+128GB version is now available for only 1999 yuan ($293). This smartphone is Xiaomi first flagship for 2018 and when it was launched, it sold for 3299 Yuan ($484). However, since its launch, we have seen flagships like Xiaomi Mi 8 series, Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, and Xiaomi Mi 9 series. To make this device attractive, it is logical to drop the price.

After the release of flagship Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, the price of Xiaomi’s first 2018 flagship started to drop. There is no better time to purchase this smartphone. This smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip and it uses a 5.99-inch notch-free display with a resolution of 2160×1080. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S uses a four-curved ceramic body, with basically 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage and its lights are kept on by a 3400 mAh battery capacity which supports wireless charging.

The biggest highlight of this smartphone is its camera department. It uses a 12MP wide angle + 12MP pixel telephoto dual rear camera of which 12MP wide-angle lens aperture is F/1.8, supports four-axis optical image stabilization, Dual PD dual core Focus and its unit pixel area is 1.4μm. For selfies, this smartphone comes with a 5MP shooter. For Android users who detest the notch display design, you may want to consider the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S as it uses a tri-bezeless design.

It must be noted that Xiaomi did not say if this price drop is a permanent one or if it is meant to last for a period. Nevertheless, those who have access to the Xiaomi Mall in China may want to make an attempt for this smartphone at its current price which is an absolute steal.
