Chinese smartphone maker Oneplus is all set to take the wraps off its flagship Oneplus Oneplus 7 series on the 14th of May in New York. The launch event will be held in New York at Pier 94 and will commence at 11 am EDT, with a simultaneous event billed to hold in London, UK, and Bangalore, India simultaneously at 4pm BST and 8:15pm IST, respectively, while a separate event is tipped for China on May 16 at Yanqi Lake, Beijing at 2pm PST.

We already sort of knew what the upcoming Oneplus 7 and Oneplus7 pro would be like, thanks to a massive leak that surfaced hours ago, but today’s leak courtesy of the ever-reliable Roland Quandt of Winfuture reveals a few renders of the official cases for the standard OP7 and its pro variant

Gizchina News of the week

The leaked case renders comes courtesy of Roland Quandt, but there are no surprises here,   rather confirms some features we already know before now. First, the official case render confirms the Oneplus7 and the Pro variant will sport a centrally aligned dual and triple-camera setup respectively with their power buttons and alert sliders on the right, with the volume rockers residing on the left.

The leaked case renders comes in multiple colors including Sandstone, Nylon, and Silicone Red for the standard version, while the pro variant gets a Karbon Gray, Karbon Black, and Sandstone color options.

As rumored for a while now, the Pro variant will be OnePlus’ first ‘notch-less’ smartphone thanks to its novel pop-up selfie camera, and is confirmed to launch with a QHD+ screen, which has prematurely picked up an A+ rating from DisplayMate, will boast a 90Hz refresh rate,  and will be HDR10+ complaint. You can follow up the entire leaks here, however, note that a few of the leaks are not officially confirmed at the moment, so take these with a pinch of salt for now.
