Unreleased Galaxy Fold gets a Game of Thrones edition by Caviar

Despite the fact that Samsung is yet to release the Galaxy Fold after a problematic first attempt, the Russian company Caviar already made a custom variant of the foldable smartphone. While the Samsung Galaxy Fold is an exotic device by nature, Caviar decided to go even further with a new modded version of the handset inspired in the popular TV series Game of Thrones.

The new design also gets some inspiration from the unreleased novel The Winds of Winter. Both outer panels are covered in golden ornaments, referring to the story of the famous “A Song of Ice and Fire” saga, that was turned into reality by HBO and ended during the last weekend. According to the Russian company, it will issue seven units after the seven houses, with the unique design and are already there available for pre-order.

Worth noting that the company stated that the start of sales will begin soon after the opening of official Samsung Galaxy Fold sales.

Despite Game of Thrones popularity and success, it isn’t everyone’s favorite show. For these people, the company is offering another two simplistic designs of the Galaxy Fold with carbon, leather, and gold. As you might expect, the pricing of this gold variant is really high. After all, Caviar isn’t known for being cheap, and Samsung’s foldable device is already an expensive device.

The price for the Galaxy Fold Game of Thrones Edition is RUB499,000 in Russia, which is equal to $7,700. For the Global customers that can’t wait to get this Game of Thrones custom foldable smartphone, the Russian firm will be asking $8,180,  four times more than the price tag of $1,980.
