Xiaomi Mi A3 officially teased, to offer better value than the Mi A2

Xiaomi Mi A3

First came leaks that the Xiaomi CC9e ain’t launching internationally as the Xiaomi Mi A3, then another report that dispelled the rumor. And here we are again with more report about the Xiaomi Mi A3, and fortunately, this time around we are talking from an official angle coming directly from the Chinese company.

The company earlier today released the first official teaser that confirms that the Xiaomi Mi A3 Android One phone could soon become a reality. The company in a tweet hinted at the launch of the Mi A3 but did directly confirmed the device in a separate reply to an old Tweet.

The tweet reads:

Our hit Mi A series is coming back with a serious bang!, and the caption : best selling Android One series is back

Gizchina News of the week

The brand while replying to a year old tweet from unboxing therapy that called the Mi A2 a “crazy good deal” reveals that the upcoming XiaomiMi A3 will be a better deal. That in a way suggests the Mi A3 might cost way lesser than the Mi A2 at launch, and obviously even park better specs than the Mi A2. A major highlight of the device might be its front and back camera. That is as suggested by the hashtag “Photos Without Limits”  on Xiaomi’s Tweet.

Xiaomi Mi A3 is a rebadged Xiaomi CC9e

Unfortunately, the brand hasn’t revealed anything else regarding the phone, including a release date, price, or specific specs.

However, a Spain retailer Powerplant online has the XiaomiMi A3 listed with images/renders. What is more, the listing also comes along with specs. The specs as the listed lineup with the Xiaomi Mi CC9e. And further goes to confirm that the Mi A3 is indeed a rebranded Xiaomi CC9e.

Nothing has been heard of the Xiaomi MI CC9, though it would make perfect sense to release that internationally as the XiaomiMi A3 Pro.
