Redmi Note 7 (6GB+64GB) gets a price cut from July 30th


Today, Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, announced that from July 30th, there will be a price reduction for the Redmi Note 7. This smartphone which normally sells for 1399 yuan ($203) will have a 200 yuan ($29) price cut to sell for 1199 yuan ($174). In addition, buyers will also get an 18W charger for only 1 yuan ($0.15). The charger usually sells for 29.9 yuan ($5). This latest price cut is for the 6GB+64GB version of the Redmi Note 7. From the announcement poster, this sale will be active on Xiaomi Mall.

Previously, Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of Redmi brand, stressed that its time to bid farewell to 10W charging and embrace 18W fast charge.  Recall that the Redmi Note 7 is the first smartphone of the company after it went independent.

This phone comes with a competitive price and the company is still giving discounts. It uses Corning’s fifth-generation Gorilla glass, and Lei Jun said that many of the two- and three-thousand-yuan flagships are reluctant to use this glass.

In the core configuration, the Redmi Note 7 uses a 6.3-inch waterdrop screen. Under the hood, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mid-range processor. In the camera department, this smartphone has a rear 48MP + 5MP AI dual camera. While in front, there is a 13MP selfie shooter. It also ships with a 4000 mAh battery. In addition, this smartphone uses the same quality standards as Xiaomi’s flagship mobile phone, and the company promise to provide an 18-month long warranty.
