Through a teaser video published on its official YouTube channel, Oppo revealed that the new Reno 2 series will boast an Ultra Dark Mode, which will not have to do with the color of the system menus, but rather with the photographic sector, which we already know will be one of the strong points of the new smartphones, thanks to 4 rear cameras.
For the time being, the manufacturer has not introduced all the details of this Ultra Dark Mode, but has hinted that the future Reno 2 will be able to take pictures of excellent quality and detail even in conditions that are prohibitive due to poor lighting. To understand the goodness of this particular mode, a field test will be necessary, but certainly the premises are encouraging.
Oppo is planning to introduce two smartphones in the Reno 2 series. One will be the standard Reno 2 and the other one will be the Reno 20X Zoom. At least the 20X Zoom model will have a quad-camera setup at the rear panel.
The leak suggests that the Reno 2 will have a 48 MP primary camera and a 13 MP telephoto lens. The media invite revealed that the new smartphone will come with a huge 20X zoom. The camera will also have an 8 MP super wide-angle lens and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. There is no information regarding the pixel size or the aperture of the final image in the leaks.
