Huawei Maimang 8 Aurora Blue version officially hit the shelves


A few months ago, Chinese manufacturer, Huawei, announced a mid-range smartphone, Huawei Maimang 8. Now, the Aurora Blue version of this smartphone is officially available for purchase. This smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and sells for 1699 yuan ($237).

The Huawei Maimang 8 uses a 6.21-inch waterdrop display with a resolution of 2340×1080 while the screen ratio reaches 89 %. This smartphone uses an integrated curved body design. The craftsmanship gives you a ceramic-like touch which makes it delicate and elegant. The lights of this smartphone are kept on with a 3400 mAh battery.

In the core configuration, the Maimang 8 comes with a Kirin 710  Soc which uses TSMC’s 12nm process. In the camera department, this smartphone has an 8MP selfie shooter which supports support AI beauty. On the rear, it uses a triple camera setup which includes 24MP+16MP+2MP AI sensors. While the 24MP sensor is the main lens, the 16MP and 2MP are the super wide-angle and depth of field sensors respectively. These cameras support AI super night scene, intelligent anti-shake, and hand-held photography. In addition, the camera supports AI scene recognition, automatically recognizes 500+ scenes, reconstructs light effects in real-time, and creates a unique shooting solution for you to achieve studio-level photography optimization.
