Galaxy S11 Global launch date revealed

Galaxy S11

The trusted fansite, Sammobile just dropped the hint that the Galaxy S11 might be dropping as early as the 1ist quarter 2020, and little do we wonder why the Galaxy S11 leaks are already making the rounds.

The Galaxy S10 debuted earlier this Year -February 20 to be precise, so the next phone’s release following the same release pattern isn’t really surprising. The S11, will in fact launch earlier than its predecessor – the Galaxy S10 Sammobile noted. The Galaxy S11 as per the report will go official on February 18th and in no other place other than in San Francisco. Having said that the report noted that it isn’t entirely sure of the said date, so we all should digest this with the proverbial grain of salt.

Assuming the date isn’t entirely correct, we can be sure the device will come alive in the third week of February in line with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S10, though there is the chance it could arrive in March. You can read on to see the entire Galaxy S series launch pattern to date, while we can expect more and more leaks to arrive about the upcoming device as we get closer to its purported launch date.

Galaxy S11 early specs

Early reports suggest Samsung is at the moment preparing four models of the Galaxy S11. These models are tentatively named  Galaxy S11, Galaxy S11+, and Galaxy S11e. These variants are said to be 5G models, while the fourth model will launch with 4G connectivity. There are speculations the device could feature Samsung’s top-end camera sensor –  a 108-megapixel primary camera accompanied by an unspecified ultra-wide-angle shooter and an upgraded zoom alternative that incorporates a periscope lens capable of producing shots at 5x zoom.

Regardless of the models, we are told the devices will boot Qualcomm’s SD 865 for units designed for the States, while the Global market will get variants powered by the Exynos 9830. Elsewhere, the S11 series is rumored to get a miniaturized spectrometer, wireless charging, and a 45W fast charging. The device will boot Android 10 with One UI 2.1 out of the box. Of course, these are early leaks, it is plausible the final specs list will differ.

Nice article, how about the screen Hertz? 60, 90 or 120 Hertz? This makes a big difference for a new phone.
