Motorola One Macro to go official on October 9

Motorola One Macro

The Motorola One Macro has been frequenting the rumor mill lately, and now we do know when to expect the device. First off, it does appear the device will be launching first in India before heading to other markets. Flipkart already published a product page for the device, and quite interestingly, the retailer’s page has it that the device will be unveiled on October 9.

While the product page looks very low on detail specs, it does highlight the One Macro key specs – like its photography capabilities alongside the multitasking prowess and battery endurance. And thanks to a number of previous leaks, we know a few things about the device already.

Gizchina News of the week

The Motorola One Macro will come with a tall aspect ratio display with a waterdrop notch housing an 8MP selfie cam. And on the flip side, there appears to be a triple camera setup. The main cam has a 13Mp sensor, with a 2MP sensor, a 2MP Macro lens,  laser-assisted autofocus, and of course an LED flash.

The Motorola One Macro will come fitted with a 6.1-inch display, Helio P60 chipset with up to 4GB RAM and a max of 64GB storage. The device will be powered by a 4000mAh battery and will come with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Besides the One Macro, Motorola is apparently also working on a fresh Motorola One smartphone. We are not sure what Motorola will name the device, however, leaked images and specs say it will come with a pop-up camera for an all-screen design. As for the launch date, we can only hope it tags along the One Macro.
