Samsung is long rumoured to launch its next-gen Galaxy A91 smartphone before the end of this year. As the name suggests, the Galaxy A91 is going to be a successor to the previously launched Galaxy A90 5G smartphone. The Galaxy A91 is going to the company’s most expensive A-lineup device. Thanks to the previous rumours and leaks, we can easily speculate the entire spec sheet of the device. Furthermore, we now have two key aspects of the device as per the recent report.

Samsung Galaxy A91 Key Specs Revealed

Courtesy of the report by SamMobile, we now have the complete specs list of the upcoming Galaxy A91. It seems like the smartphone will share some core specifications as that of Galaxy A90 5G. The smartphone will come with a model number SM-A915F. Coming to the specifications, the device will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Infinity-U display. Under the hood, the device is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device will also support the microSD card expansion to up to 512GB.

In terms of imaging, the device will feature a triple camera module featuring the same 48MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensor. Although this time we’re looking at the 12MP ultra-wide lens which is bumped up from the previous 8MP sensor. For selfies, the device will feature a 31MP front snapper having an aperture of f/2.2. All of these is fueled by a massive 4,500mAh battery packed inside. It is worth mentioning that the device will come with a 45W fast charging. This is something we haven’t seen earlier in the Galaxy A lineup. There is no information on whether the brand will ship the compatible charge or the user will have to buy it separately.

The connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac. Unlike the Galaxy A90 5G, the smartphone will not come with the 5G support meaning it should be priced less than its predecessor. Coming to the software, various reports suggest that the device will feature the latest Android 10 out-of-the-box.

Pricing, Availability

As of now, there is no solid information on the pricing and the availability of the device. As per the various unconfirmed reports, the device might see its official unveiling by the end of this year in some countries such as India. Furthermore, the Indian variant will most likely run on the Android 9 Pie.
