Realme 5i appears on Geekbench: key specs confirmed

Realme is getting set to unveil the Realme 5i on January 6 in Vietnam. TheĀ Realme 5 series (Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro) recently hit India in August last year. In November 2019, the company released the Realme 5s with a 48MP camera. This turns out to be the major difference between the Realme 5 and Realme 5s. Now, the upcoming Realme 5i appeared onĀ Geekbench with some of its key configurations.

Gizchina News of the week

Geekbench shows that the Realme 5i (version number RMX2030) will come with a Snapdragon 665 SoC, with 4GB of RAM, Android 9 Pie (probably ColorOS 6).Ā Realme 5i scored 1,543 and 5,602 points on Geekbench 4’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. On Geekbench 5, its single-core and multi-core scores are 314 and 1389 points, respectively.

Apart from the listing date, the company has not revealed any details of the 5i. However, this smartphone has appeared on the website of a Vietnamese retailer. The listing shows that this smartphone is basically the same as the 5, except that the selfie camera has been downgraded, and it does not use a crystal design. We are not sure why Realme rebrands its phones for various markets although they have the exact same features and design.
