Galaxy Buds+ now available in Red and Pink colors in South-Korea

Samsung took the wraps off its new Samsung Galaxy Buds+ TWS earphones back in February along with the Galaxy S20 series. The hearables came to succeed the last year’s Buds with improved battery and audio features. They were unveiled in Black, White, and stylish Blue colors. Now, these three colors are joined by two more shades – Red and Pink.

Gizchina News of the week

The Red and Pink colors are launched in South Korea and will remain exclusive to the domestic market for now. They cost as much as the other versions – KRW179,300 ($150/ā‚¬130). Customers can purchase the Pink variant from Samsung’s official Korean website, Samsung Digital Plaza, Hi-Mart and 11th Street. The Red variant, in counterpart, is exclusively sold through Korea Telecom. It’s unclear when these color options will be available in other markets.

According to Samsung, users in South Korean can launch music streaming apps Genie and Flo with a long-press on the Buds+. Moreover, the company will roll out support for Melon through a future software update. Despite the lack of Active noise canceling, the Galaxy Buds+ feature AKG-tuned 2-way speakers and each bud pack an 85mAh battery. According to reports, they can offer 11 hours of playback.

We expect the hearables to arrive in Global markets in the next month. But that’s an optimistic guess.
