McDonald’s to launch a 5G product in China

While there are 5G products being announced left and right in China since last year, there’s one company you would not be expecting to do the same – McDonald’s China.  But that is what’s happening precisely. A teaser came up on WeChat from the company’s official account today teasing a 5G product that will be launched on April 15 (tomorrow) in China. 

The teaser is accompanied by some other promo images that show a glimpse of the mysterious product although we can’t quite get an idea of what it could be. One of those promotional images shows a square-shaped pad while the other one shows a camera as well. Others show a speaker with “good” sound quality, facial recognition, and of course, 5G connectivity as well. Could it be a 5G smartphone? or a 5G tablet? We’re quite out of our wits to predict what this upcoming thing could be.

Either way, the mystery won’t be longlived as McDonald’s will take the wraps off the product tomorrow. If you’ve any idea what this is, please let us know in the comments section below.
