After seeing them in a couple leaks in the past days, the new Moto G Fast and Moto E (2020) have been officially launched today. The two smartphones feature entry-level specs along with affordable price tags; let’s have a closer look!

Starting with the more “premium” of the couple, the Moto G Fast. The handset comes with an averagely sized 6.4-inch Max Vision display of the IPS LCD type with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels, a 19:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole in the upper left corner.

The G Fast is powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. and 32GB of internal storage (expandable trough microSD).

In the camera department, we find three cameras on the back which include a 16MP primary shooter with f/1.7 aperture; we then have a secondary 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile the camera inside the display has a resolution of 8MP .

The Moto G Fast is fueled by a good 4000mAh capacity battery and there’s support for 10W fast charging via the USB Type-C port at the bottom. Other features include a rear fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack and IP52 water/dust resistance and Android 10 OTB.

Motorola‘s G Fast will be sold on the US for $200 starting on June 12th. The smartphone will be available through Amazon, Walmart, B&H and BestBuy.

Moto E (2020)

Moto G Fast Moto E (2020) Launched

Moving onto the more affordable Moto E (2020). The smaller handset packs a 6.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels r and a waterdrop notch at the top. Less price also means less performance, that’s why we find an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 CPU, paired with just 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Here as well we have a microSD slot to expand store further.

Camera wise, the smartphone boasts two rear cameras with a 13MP main sensor and a secondary 2MP to capture depth data. Meanwhile at the front we find a 5MP selfie snapper.

Moto G Fast Moto E (2020) Launched

The Moto E (2020) is powered by a 3550mAh battery that can be charged over micro-USB. Finally, it’s worth to mention that despite the low price, we still find a rear fingerprint scanner and Android 10 as the OS out of the box.

Motorola’s E (2020) will be sold for $150 through a number of US retailers such as T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, Republic Wireless and Verizon prepaid.
