IQOO 5 Specifications Leaked via Master Lu Benchmark with Snapdragon 865 Chipset and More

Vivo’s subsidiary, iQOO will be launching their upcoming new smartphone named as the IQOO 5 on August 17th. A few days before the launch, most of the specifications regarding the device has been leaked online. The iQOO 5 has been rumoured to come with a couple of new features including the 120W fast charging. According to the company, this charging solution can charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 15 minutes.  The rumoured iQOO 5 carrying model number V2024 has now surfaced on Master Lu benchmark revealing some of its key specifications.

According to the Master Lu listing, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the 2.84Ghz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with Adreno 650 GPU onboard. Additional information includes, the screen resolution of 1080 × 2376 pixels, 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The iQOO 5 scored 139,720 points and in the GPU test, and 229,986 in the CPU tests. On the other hand, the device scored 43,734 and 66,963 in the RAM and Storage tests respectively. Combining all the test, the IQOO 5 scored 480,403 in the Master Lu benchmark test.

iQOO 5 Rumoured and Leaked Specifications:

Recently, in a promo video iQOO showed off the 120W fast charging on the IQOO 5 series, the 3C certification for vanilla IQOO 5 showed support for 55W fast charging while the Pro version to have support for 120W fast charging. According to recent leaks, the smartphone will use a punch-hole display. The punch-hole will be at the upper left corner of the screen. Furthermore, it will also use a curved screen design with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The teaser also confirms the presence of a Triple-Camera array on the smartphone. It will flaunt an AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone will offer DCI-P3 colour gamut with 100% accuracy.

The manufacturer has confirmed that the iQOO 5 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 processor instead of Snapdragon 865 Plus which supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5G. It will also use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is no doubt, the 120W fast charge is the first of its kind in the industry. It will also be one of the most anticipated features on this smartphone. At the ChinaJoy event, iQOO demonstrated the 120W ultra-fast flash charging technology. The demonstration shows that this charging solution can deliver 50% in 5 minutes for a 4000 mAh battery. According to official information, 120W ultra-fast flash charging uses a 20V/6A input power combination.
