OnePlus Gallery now allows users to edit 4K@60fps videos

OnePlus OxygenOS is one of the best and most complete Android skins being shipped nowadays. Interestingly enough, it succeeds to offer a full-fledged custom experience without leaving all the smoothness found on a vanilla Android built. The software comes with a set of unique apps, among them we have OnePlus Gallery. The app is the default image and video gallery app on all OnePlus smartphones. The company is providing a new update for this specific app that promises to turn it even more useful now.

OnePlus Gallery is the company’s answer to Google Photos

Usually, OnePlus likes to provide updates to make the OnePlus Gallery close to Google Photos. In May, the company introduced the Google Lens integration and in July, it added an option for casting images and videos. Now, the company’s August update introduces a nice feature that will allow OnePlus users to edit 4K@60fps videos.

The company’s add-ons surely will make the OnePlus devices’ Gallery more complete than any other Gallery offering in the Android side. Moreover, if you’re familiar with Google Photos features, then the company’s proprietary app works as a nice replacement. It’s interesting to see such a focus on an app that usually is barebones in most smartphones.

For now, the company is adding an editing option for 4K@60fps videos in OnePlus Gallery that allows basic operations like trimming as well as applying filters and music. The tool may prove useful for those with mid-level knowledge about video editing tools that just need to make some quick and practical edits.
