POCO X3 NFC Bags Bluetooth SIG Certification Ahead of September 7 Launch

POCO X3

Yesterday, Qualcomm announced the new Snapdragon 732G Chipset alongside confirming the POCO X3 NFC to launch globally on September 7th. Ahead of the official launch, the smartphone has now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification portal. First spotted by 91Mobilesm a smartphone with model number M2007J20CG, running MIUI 12, and Bluetooth 5.1 support has been listed which is probably the upcoming POCO X3. While the company had previously confirmed some key features of the POCO X3, here’s some more to add on.

POCO X3 64MP Camera

Poco’s Product Marketing Manager and Global spokesperson is doling out details for the Poco X3. The phone will indeed have a 64MP camera, the manager confirmed. He shared the first camera sample for the smartphone. However, this seems to be downscaled and the phone should still take 16MP photos with pixel binning. You can even catch a glimpse of the smartphone’s camera UI via the image below.

Poco X3 Battery and Charging

The company also decided to tease the Poco X3’s battery charging capabilities. According to the chart below, the Samsung Galaxy A71 needs 80 minutes to fully charge its 4,500mAh using a 25W charger. The Poco X3 will take only 65 minutes to charge its battery. Unfortunately, the battery capacity of the handset isn’t confirmed yet. The phone was rumoured to come with a 5,000mAh battery or a capacity the sits slightly below this amount.
