Since the last couple of years, Samsung has moved towards an aggressive push in the smartphone segment especially with competitive markets such as India. The chaebol launches a plethora of devices in the online-exclusive Galaxy M lineup every year. That’s the case with the year 2020 as well. While we thought Samsung might be done with its Galaxy M devices for the year, the company seems to disagree. According to a new report by SamMobile, Samsung now has two more devices under its Galaxy M series that could see the launch in the coming months.
Samsung working on two more Galaxy M phones: Galaxy M42 and Galaxy M12s
Apart from Galaxy M51, it looks like Samsung is working on two more Galaxy M devices. According to the report, both the devices might come with the moniker Galaxy M41 and M12s considering the model number. The former bears the model number SM-M425F while the latter carries the SM-M127F model. Apart from this, we also have some key specifications for one of the model numbers. The SM-M425F will arrive with a 64MP primary sensor on the back and 128GB onboard storage.
Furthermore, the software of the Galaxy M42 is currently under development meaning the device might be closer to the official launch. Sadly, there is no information on the second device i.e. Galaxy M12s. Considering the model number and moniker, this is going to be an entry-level smartphone. Apart from all this, we don’t have any more information regarding both the model numbers. It is also worth noting that Samsung was also working on the Galaxy M41 smartphone. It seems like the device is now canceled considering the Galaxy M51 is now official.
With that said, we should expect more information to come forward in the coming weeks. Whenever that happens, we will make sure to keep our readers updated.
