Samsung will launch the new Galaxy S21 series flagship phone next month. Before that, the new phone must obtain certification required by multiple markets. The latest certification comes from the FCC. Today, the Samsung Galaxy S21 code-named SM-G991U has appeared on the FCC.
The FCC certification information shows that Samsung Galaxy S21 supports 25W wired charging and 9W reverse wireless charging. This is twice the rate of Galaxy S20.
The FCC certification information also mentions the EP-TA800 charger. But we are not sure whether the new phone will come with a charger. As you know, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra recently passed the Brazilian ANATEL certification. And the certification documents show that all three Galaxy S21 will cancel the included charger.
