Vivo X60 series official specs: ultra-stable micro-panel, Zeiss optical lens, Exynos 1080


An official teaser of the upcoming Vivo X60 series shows that these smartphones will come with an ultra-stable micro-panel, Zeiss optical lens, and of course, the Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC. According to Vivo, the camera lens is a joint effort from Vivo and Zeiss. The ultra-stable micro-panel improves the blacklight night vision. Furthermore, this smartphone is the first-ever device to use the Exynos 1080 SoC.

On the official teaser, you can see theĀ details of the camera behind the Vivo X60 series. A micro-head camera, two parallel camera lenses, and a ToF camera lens. There is also information above showing ZEISS Vario-Tessar 1.48-3.4/16-125 ASPH. According to reports, the Vivo X60 series will officially launch on December 28th. This device will also use a Samsung single punch-hole screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo X60 series will also run on the latest OriginOS UI with a center punch-hole screen. On the rear, we can see theĀ 5-axis VIS anti-shake design. It is worth mentioning that the Vivo X60 Pro+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chip. This series will have three models including Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro+.

Samsungā€™s new generation Exynos 1080 SoC adopts a 5nm process. It comes with one ARM Cortex-A78 super core up to 2.8GHz, three high-performance 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 large cores, and four efficient 2.0GHz Cortex -A55 small core. In terms of GPU, it uses the 10-core Mali-G78 GPU.

Vivo X60 Pro+ to use a Snapdragon 888 SoC?

Some Vivo smartphones recently got the Chinese 3C certification. According to DigitalChatStation, the model numbers of these devices are V2046A, V2047A, and V2059AĀ  and they belong to the Vivo X60 series. A new report claims that this series will come with a 33W charge pump fast charge. In addition, the top model, Vivo X60 Pro+ will use the recently released Snapdragon 888 chip.

According to the report, the rest of the X60 series will use Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chip. They will come with the latest OriginOS UI and use a center single punch-hole straight screen. This series will also come with a cloud-level micro-panel lens at the rear. Furthermore, the camera department will have a 5-axis VIS anti-shake design.

According to reports, the Vivo X60 Pro+running score is the highest among the Snapdragon 888 devices. However, these scores are from engineering models and could significantly change in the final version. On Geekbench 5 it scores 1135 points for single-core and 3681 points for multi-core.
