UMIDIGI A9 launched as the world’s first Android 11 phone with IR temp measuring

UMIDIGI A9

The freshly launched UMIDIGI A9 is a cheaper version of the company’s popular entry-level smartphone UMIDIGI A9 Pro. The A9 is the world’s first Android 11 smartphone with infrared temperature measurement, featuring a 6.53″ large screen, MediaTek Helio G25 processor, and 5150mAh battery. The phone will start its global pre-sale at $99.99 from Jan 1, 2021.

World’s First Android 11 Smartphone with Infrared Temperature Measurement

With no doubt, pure stock Android 11 is the key selling feature of the new smartphone. Only a very few devices are running on Android 11 now, and even fewer are the ones priced in the entry-level range. In such perspective, this is a huge leap for UMIDIGI, going ahead of other more expensive devices on the software front. And the A9 gains powerful device controls and easier ways to manage conversations, privacy settings and so much more, thanks to the latest Android OS.

Another great feature of the A9 is infrared temperature measurement, the same one you can find in the premium Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS. It can help containing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, because fever is one of the major symptoms of COVID-19. So the infrared temperature sensor on the smartphone can help immensely in your daily life. You can check out the video below to learn more about it.
