iQOO 7 is in the same price range as the Xiaomi Mi 11

Whenever there is a new flagship processor especially from Qualcomm, there is usually a fight to the finish line. Smartphone manufacturers will want to be the first to use this chip. They will also want to have an exclusive sales period as well as a price advantage. This is exactly the case with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Xiaomi beat others to launch a phone with this chip back in December. It even has an exclusive sales period. However, it will still compete with other manufacturers in the market. Tonight, iQOO will bring you a new generation flagship product – iQOO 7.

In the past few weeks, there have been a couple of speculations regarding iQOO 7. However, in all the leaks and speculations, there is no information on the price. Today, iQOO product manager @戈蓝V posted on Weibo suggesting the price of iQOO 7.  According to him, iQOO 7 will have a price that meets the positioning of high-end flagships. However, he also gave a hint that the iQOO 7 and Xiaomi Mi 11 are products in the same price range.

Gizchina News of the week

Regarding iQOO 7, he said “The most interesting thing about this industry is that products in the same price range will always have different good products…”. From this point of view, the price positioning of iQOO7 should be similar to that of Xiaomi Mi 11. This means that we expect the iQOO 7 launch price should be around 4000 yuan ($618).

iQOO 7 to launch later today

In addition to the price, the iQOO7 configuration is also similar to Xiaomi Mi 11. In addition to the Snapdragon 888 SoC, this phone will also use at least 8GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery. The battery supports 120W fast charging and can deliver a full charge in 15 minutes.

In order to improve the gaming experience, iQOO7 uses a straight AMOLED punch-hole screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This display effectively reduces false touches and the overall gaming experience is more immersive. Of course, this device is a gaming smartphone.
