POCO To Launch New Smartphone Series This Year

POCO X3

A few years ago, Xiaomi launched a new project / brand that should present the company globally. Moreover, POCO has had a mission of spreading Xiaomi’s philosophy that ‘flagship products can cost less’. But since the release of the first models under this brand, the market changed a lot. As a result, Xiaomi paused this project for a year or so and made Redmi operate as an independent brand. In this picture, there is no place for POCO. Well, we and many like us have been thinking so. Recently, this brand shows some activity. And we have also managed to some models launched in 2020. Today, POCO official Twitter channel said the company is going to release new POCO series this year. Does it mean the POCO X3 Pro?

Gizchina News of the week

POCO’s official Twitter reviews the POCO series product lines in recent years. Since the POCO F1 in 2018, Xiaomi has successively launched the POCO F1, POCO F2 Pro, POCO X3, POCO M3 and other models. Among them, the Xiaomi POCO F1 and POCO F2 Pro came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series flagship processors. The former uses the Snapdragon 845, and the latter uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. As for the rest two models, the X3 came with the Snapdragon 732G and the M3 featured the Snapdragon 662 processor.

Looking at the models above, we have no guesses what they have in common. We mean they even don’t use processors from the same series. Anyways, we have some predictions. At present, the Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro has obtained FCC certification. So there is every reason to think that this phone will come this year. This smartphone (POCO X3) comes with a 6.67-inch LCD full screen that supports an FHD+ resolution. This display also supports a high 120Hz refresh rate. It is the first smartphone to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. In addition, its battery capacity is 5160mAh and it supports 33W flash charging.
