After announcing the launch date of the OnePlus 9 Series that is 23 rd March 2021. It’s expected that the OnePlus 9 series will include OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R. And today, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has revealed that the OnePlus 9 series will have a Sony IMX766 Ultra-wide camera sensor. It’s likely that the top-notch smartphone from the series, the OnePlus 9 Pro will have the Sony IMX766 sensor as the primary camera sensor.
The same 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor is packed in Oppo Reno5 Pro+ that is launched in December 2020. However, the details of other camera sensors are still unknown. But according to the leaks, there might be one more 50MP, 8MP telephoto camera, and 2MP depth sensor. It’s important to tell you here that OnePlus partnerships with Hasselblad for 3 years to improve the camera setups. Moreover, the top-notch smartphone of the OnePlus 9 series will have a Hasselblad Pro Mode.

OnePlus 9 Pro Specifications (Expected)
According to various leaks and reports, the OnePlus 9 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will have 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In Optics as written above there might be a quad-camera setup with 50MP+50MP+8MP+2MP.
Oneplus 9 Specifications (Rumored)
It will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will have a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
Oneplus 9R Specifications (Rumored)
There are some leaks that suggest, this time around OnePlus will launch a mid-range smartphone also alongside the OnePlus 9 series. Its name might be OnePlus 9R or 9E. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 690 SoC. It might have a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
