Galaxy A52, Galaxy A72 new leak reveals Indian pricing

Samsung is gearing up to reveal its upcoming and much-anticipated devices at its Galaxy Unpacked March 2021 event. The conference will take place on March 17 and as expected, will be live-streamed on social channels. At the event, the chaebol will showcase two devices namely Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Both the devices have already been leaked a dozen times in the past. In a fresh new development, we now have the leaked Indian pricing of both smartphones.

This report comes courtesy of SamMobile. As per the report, the Galaxy A52 will arrive with two model numbers – SM-A525FG and SM-A525FH. We’re looking at two different storage configurations namely 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB options. The base version of the device will set you back around INR 26,499 (i.e. around $365). The 8GB RAM variant, on the other hand, will be priced at INR 27,999 (i.e. $385).

That’s not it! We also have the pricing information for the expensive Galaxy A72 smartphone. There are going to be two different storage configurations with each of them being packed with 8GB RAM. The two variant differ in terms of built-in storage – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The 128GB storage version will come with INR 34,999 (i.e. $480) price tag while the top model will set you back INR 37,999 (i.e. $522).

While we were expecting the 5G version, it looks like Samsung has different plans for the Indian market. The South Korean giant is sticking with 4G variants for the country, at least for now.

Here’s what you can expect from these devices!

We already know a lot about the Galaxy A52 smartphone. The device will arrive with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display having a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will have a Full HD+ resolution, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass protection. The Galaxy A72, on the other hand, features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. Just like A52, the A72 also features the same resolution, refresh rate, protection, and biometrics.

That’s not it! both the devices also share the same Snapdragon 720G chipset running on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top. We’re also looking at the same camera module on both the rear and front. There is a 32MP front snapper housed inside the notch while there are 64MP+12MP+5MP+5MP quad sensors. Other specifications include IP67 rating, 25W fast charging, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a headphone jack. All of these will receive fuel from a 4,500mAh battery for Galaxy A52  and a 5,000mAh battery for Galaxy A72.
