Galaxy Tab A7 gets the latest Android 11 software update!

Back in September 2020, Samsung launched its 2020 version of Galaxy Tab A7 with the large 10.4-inch display panel. As expected, the device originally arrived with an Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box based on One UI 2.5 skin. Well, the chaebol is now rolling out a new software update bringing the latest Android 11. Here’s everything you need to know about it from the changelog to the region and much more.

Galaxy Tab A7 now runs on Android 11 software!

Samsung has now brought the latest version of One UI software to its affordable Galaxy Tab A7 tablet. The new firmware update carries the version T505XXU3BUD7 along with the latest security patch.  Well, we’re looking at March 2021 Android security patch instead of the April or May one. Apart from this, the major change is the arrival of Android 11 software to the tablet.

One UI 3.1

 

The new Android 11 software for Galaxy Tab A7 is based on the latest One UI 3.1 software. At the time of writing this, the update is currently only rolling out in few European countries and the UK. With that said, it should roll out to more regions such as India in the coming days or weeks.

If you reside in the mentioned location and own the device, then you might have already received the update notification. Alternatively, you can also go ahead and check for it manually by heading over to Settings>>Software Update>>Download and Install.

We still don’t have any official changelog with us so we can’t really talk about the specifics of the update. Well, the new software update should bring all the things you would expect from Android 11 and One UI 3.1. For instance, we’re looking at various new additions along with a revamped user interface.
