Upgraded Chuwi CoreBook X coming in early May

According to the official news, Chuwi are planning to release a new upgraded version of their CoreBook X laptop model. It should be coming in early May with a 14-inch 3:2 productivity screen and some major changes in the hardware configuration. The laptop promises to focus on all-around productivity and on top of that will surely offer a pretty affordable price tag.

Upgraded CoreBook X is undoubtedly the the answer to the rapid growth of laptop market demand. Global shipments of personal computers (including laptops and desktops) rose by 32% to 69.9 million units in the first quarter, being the fastest pace in 20 years according to Reuters. In the era of the global digital economy, PC is a necessity for almost any productivity task.

14-inch 3:2 screen improves efficiency in an all-around way

The new CoreBook X uses a 14-inch 3:2 screen, which displays nearly 20% more content vertically. That reduces frequent page flipping and inspires more comprehensive wisdom or creative efficiency. Compared to the traditional 13-inch / 14-inch micro-edge full screen, it has more advantages with 2K ultra-high resolution and 100%sRGB color gamut. Resulting in much better picture experience.

New hardware upgrades 

The laptop now uses Intel 8th Gen Core i5-8259U processor and Iris plus 655 core GPU. But it can hold its ground even compared to the 10th Gen Core i3-1005G1 and deliver better performance results. For that it also helps being equipped with 8GB DDR4 high-speed memory or fast 512GB SSD drive. But it also supports up to 1TB SSD hard disk expansion option.

Light and thin metal build with nice business looks

But the laptop is also delivering some swag and style. It comes with a light metal fuselage, up to 20.6mm thickness and weighing only 3.3 pounds. With about 8-hour battery life you are set for the full day of office productivity.  And new full-size backlit keyboard is designed for a more comfortable experience and should reduce finger fatigue.
