Recently, there have been many rumors that Huawei will hold a new product launch conference on July 29. At this event, there are reports that the company will unveil its latest flagship, the Huawei P50 series. Furthermore, the Huawei P50 series will be the first flagship to use HarmonyOS out of the box. As such, this device does not only come with the existing HarmonOS features. The Huawei P50 series will come with some new and exclusive HarmonyOS features.

The camera department of the Huawei P50 series remains an aspect to watch out for. According to previous reports, the Huawei P50 will come with the latest 1/1.18-inch Sony custom sensor. The name of this sensor is not public yet but it may be IMX800. This will also become Sony’s largest sensor in history. At the same time, it will use Huawei’s unique RYYB arrangement. The shooting ability will be upgraded again to become a new generation of night vision devices.

At the same time, the Huawei P50 series will also launch a variety of new functions in the imaging department. The company will also optimize some of the unique features to improve the comprehensive strength of the camera. In terms of hardware, considering that Huawei’s Kirin stocks are running out, this series will likely have a Snapdragon processor 888 4G version. Despite the fact that this is a 4G chip, the performance is just like the 5G version.

Huawei P50 series rumors

Due to supply chain issues, the Huawei P50 series had to replace multiple solutions. The early version uses a 6.3-inch flat screen and the dimension of the phone is 156.7 x 74 x 8.3 mm (including the rear camera bump, it was 10.6 mm). However, there are reports that the final version of this smartphone will be smaller. The different models in this series come in different screen sizes. The standard version will use a Visionox straight-screen solution while the Pro+ version will use BOE’s latest diamond-like quad-curved display. In addition, the Pro model will come with a hybrid hyperboloid screen design.

Apart from these three models, there are no reports of any other model in this series. In addition to the basic version, there are multiple auxiliary lenses that support under-screen fingerprint recognition and dual speakers at the top and bottom. There are also reports that the P50 series’s gameplay and optimization of the video part are better than expected this time. Some new capabilities in the video process have improved the shooting, and the discoloration and stuttering caused by the zoom of the video lens have been improved. This will make the zoom smoother than in previous generations.
