OnePlus India recently posted an image on its official Twitter account. The tweet reveals the battery size along with the fast charging capabilities. As per the tweet, the OnePlus Nord 2 packs a 4,500mAh battery with the support of 65W fast warp charging. The post also claims that the device will give you a full day’s worth of juice in just 15 minutes. Compared to the first generation of Nord, there have been improvements in both aspects.
To recall, the original OnePlus Nord was released with a smaller 4,115 mAh battery capacity. It also featured a 30W fast charging support, charging 70% in just 30 minutes. According to various leaks and rumors, the OnePlus Nord 2 will offer various improvements over the predecessor. That’s not it! You should also expect a higher price tag along with newer hardware.
Here’s what we know about the device so far!
- Display: 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification
- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC
- RAM & Storage: up to 12GB, up to 256GB
- Cameras: Triple camera module, 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, OIS

If you look at the previous reports, the OnePlus Nord 2 is going to be a mid-range smartphone with a flagship-grade processor. It has a punch-hole cutout that houses the selfie camera. According to the leaks, the second iteration of the lineup will come with an 8GB RAM and a 128GB storage variant. This base variant of the device will cost you around INR 31,999 (i.e. $430). The 12GB RAM variant that packs 256GB built-in storage will set you back around INR 34,999 (i.e. $470).
With that said, you should take this pricing with a grain of salt. Since the event is right around the corner, everything will soon become official.
