The market is teeming with foldable smartphones for popular handset makers including Samsung and Huawei. The foldable smartphone portfolio of Huawei includes the well-received Mate X series. However, it was the South Korean tech company that released and mass-produce a foldable device for the first time.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 Specs Sheet Appears Online
The popular handset maker has already confirmed that its upcoming foldable device will come with the S Pen support. Earlier reports have indicated that the foldable phone will feature a 7.6-inches primary display that houses an under-panel camera. Aside from that, it is speculated that the phone will sport a 6.2 -inches cover panel. Both displays could support a 120Hz refresh rate.
Other leaked specs include a Snapdragon 888 chipset from Qualcomm. The phone will reportedly ship with 12GB of RAM and offer a hearty 256GB / 512GB of built-in storage capacity. In the optics department, the phone houses a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP telephoto at the back. Moreover, there’s a 10MP outer display camera and a 4MP under-screen camera. The phone could be IPx8 rated, and draw its juices from a 4,400mAh battery.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 Complete Specs Leaked
The complete specs of the equally-anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 3 have also leaked online ahead of launch. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 is an actual upgrade. Although it retains the 8GB RAM+256GB ROM configuration, the phone will reportedly pack the powerful Snapdragon 888 chip, according to SlashGear.
The phone has a 1.9-inch cover display with an AMOLED screen and 512×260 pixels resolution. Its predecessor sported a smaller 1.1-inch display with 300×112 pixels resolution. The larger screen shows notifications and comes in handy for using external cameras for capturing selfies. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has two 12MP sensors for a wide camera, and an ultra-wide camera, respectively. The phone doesn’t support WiFi 6 and there’s no microSD card slot. However, it carries an IPX8 rating for water resistance. Word on the street is that it will retail for 1,099 EUR (about $1292).

Tipsters Roland Quandt and Snoopy have suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with 25W fast charging support, 8K playback, and 4K video recording.
Furthermore, the phone will arrive in the European market on August 26 and early orders will be eligible to receive an S Pen cover and a 25W charger. Aside from that, Quandt shared a slew of images of the case designed to house the S Pen. In other words, the phone will not have a slot to accommodate the stylus.
