Xiaomi is gearing up for the Mi Smart Living 2022 event in the Indian market. For those unaware, this is the company’s annual IoT-focused event. This year’s edition will happen on August 26. Ahead of the new event, the company started teasing the key products that will attend the event. One of the products that will launch in India on August 26 is the Mi Band 6 with an AMOLED display. The new wearable brought neat features and upgrades and Indian customers have been eagerly waiting for its since its launch in China. The Mi Band series is quite successful in the Indian market, and we’re sure that the new Mi Band 6 will not leave users disappointed.

Xiaomi has already confirmed the launch of its Mi Band 6 in India. The new smart band from Xiaomi will launch in India on August 26. The company is expected to launch multiple new products at the Smarter Living 2022 event. These also include the Wi-Fi router, a security camera, and more. The company is also preparing a major refresh for its Mi Notebook series in the country.

For those unaware, the sixth generation of the Mi Band series brings important upgrades over the last-gen. For instance, it packs a large 1.56-inch AMOLED screen which is bright and power-efficient. According to the company, with this screen, the band can offer up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. In addition to the long-standing battery life, the device also comes with up to 30 sports modes. Moreover, it can auto-detect six activities like walking, running, indoor treadmill, and cycling.

Other features include 24 x 7 blood pressure monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2), heart-rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. Interestingly, the new wearable comes with features like allowing you to answer messages with pre-existent answers. Users can even configure it to work with apps like WhatsApp or Telegram.

The new wearable comes with a 125 mAh battery that combined with the AMOLED screen makes this a solid device for everyday usage. A full charge requires around two hours. The wearable comes in multiple colorways such as Orange, Yellow, Olive Green, Black and etc. We won’t be surprised to see a new custom strap coming with the new wearable for the Indian market. Third-party retailers will also offer a bunch of custom-designed straps to fit your tastes.

The Mi Band 6 may reach the Indian market with a price tag of INR 3,000 ($40). We expect more details to appear in the coming days.
