The much-awaited Mi NoteBook series featuring the Mi NoteBook Ultra, Mi NoteBook Pro is set to go on sale in India today. The Chinese tech company unveiled the RedmiBook 15 lineup of laptops in the country earlier this month. It introduced the Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra for consumers looking for premium-level laptops. Despite having identical frames, the Ultra variant boasts some compelling hardware that separates it from its Pro sibling.

Furthermore, the laptops pack 11th Gen Intel Core processors, along with Intel Iris Xe graphics under the hood. You will be able to choose from a wide range of configurations. On the downside, both laptops are available only in the Lustrous Grey color option. They will come running on Windows 10 OS, but you can upgrade them to Windows 11 OS later. Xiaomi took the wraps off the Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro laptops during the recently concluded Smarter Living 2022 event.

The recently unveiled Mi NoteBook Ultra, Mi NoteBook Pro will be up for grabs starting August 31 at 12 PM IST (noon). You will be able to purchase it via Mi Home stores, Amazon, and the company’s official online store, mi.com. The Mi NoteBook Ultra with Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM is available at INR 59,999 (about $819). The Mi Notebook Pro with the same configuration will set you back INR 56,999 (about $780). You can avail of an instant discount of INR 4,500 (about $60) with HDFC Bank debit and credit card, and EMI options. You can get Play-and-Win coupons of INR 750 (about $10) via Mi.com.

Specifications & Features

The Ultra model is housed in a Series 6 Aluminium body. It has a 15.6-inch Mi-Truelife+ display with 3,200×2,000 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, peak brightness of 300 nits, and 90Hz refresh rate. Aside from that, the display offers DC dimming, TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, and 100 percent sRGB coverage. The device packs an Intel Core i7-11370H processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The device will offer 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. In terms of connectivity, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, and more. A 70Whr battery keeps the system powered up for 12 hours.

The Mi NoteBook Pro, on the other hand, sports a 14-inch 2.5K display with 2,560×1,600 pixels, 300 nits peak brightness, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100 percent sRGB coverage. Moreover, it offers DC dimming and has TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. Under the hood, it has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, along with Iris Xe graphics. It ships with 16GB of RAM and has 512GB of onboard storage. The connectivity options and speakers are the same as the Ultra variant. A 56Whr battery keeps the Mi NoteBook Pro running for 11 hours.
